Questions about demolition

What is the difference between full and partial demolition?

Full demolition removes the whole building and leaves the site clean and ready for redevelopment. Partial demolition removes selected parts of a building, such as an extension, while the structure that stays is protected.

Do you demolish commercial and industrial buildings?

Yes. We take on everything from small residential strip-outs to complex commercial and industrial demolition.

What is controlled structural demolition?

It is demolition planned for precision and control: the careful dismantling of part of a structure, or the full removal of a complex building, with every stage managed to protect nearby structures and keep disruption to a minimum.

What paperwork do you handle?

We prepare and submit the Section 80 notice, method statement and waste management plan, and provide risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) before work starts.

How much of the building is recycled?

Over 90% of materials are recovered and reused. Bricks, timber, slate and clay peg tiles are reclaimed where they are in good enough condition, and all metals are recycled through approved facilities.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and the South of England from our base at Three Legged Cross, near Wimborne.
